YBM PLN educational assistance programs in Indonesia

Overview

Yayasan Baitul Maal (YBM) PLN has implemented various educational assistance initiatives across Indonesia. In Palangka Raya, the organization provided financial aid to 58 orphaned and underprivileged students at the Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding School to support their learning needs.

In Makassar, assistance was distributed to 15 students from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences at Universitas Muslim Indonesia to aid in their studies and thesis preparations.

Expanding its reach, the YBM PLN UID South Sumatra, Jambi, and Bengkulu branch opened applications for the ‘Cahaya Pintar’ 2026 scholarship. This program is designed for elementary, middle, and high school students who show academic or non-academic merit but require financial support.
