Yemen conflict military developments

Overview

Yemeni government forces, including the Shield of the Nation supported by Al-Amaliqa forces and local tribes, seized the strategic Jabal Numman and Dar al-Kafir sites in the Lahj Governorate. This operation involved a night infiltration and dawn assault, forcing Houthi militias to retreat and leaving behind losses in personnel and equipment. The capture of these heights is intended to secure residential areas and protect supply lines between the Al-Wazi'iyah and Al-Mudari'ah districts.

In response to Houthi advances, Al-Isnad Forces, led by Sheikh Talib al-Dali'i, have deployed reinforcements and trained combatants to multiple battlefronts. These movements aim to bolster resistance in the Al-Subayhah fronts within Lahj, as well as on the West Coast and the Kahbub front near the Bab al-Mandab Strait. These efforts are being coordinated with the Al-Amaliqa Brigades and Watan Shield forces to maintain control over strategic highlands.
