Zadar tourism event funding and entrepreneurship initiatives

Overview

The Zadar Tourist Board has initiated a public call for the development of tourist events scheduled for 2027. The program seeks to enhance the city’s offerings during non-peak seasons.

Financial assistance is structured into two tiers: local and regional projects may receive up to 50 percent of justified costs, while larger national and international ‘TOP events’ are eligible for up to 20 percent of justified costs.

Expanding on local economic support, Zadar has launched three additional public tenders totaling 250,000 euros aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and craftsmen. These grants, which can reach up to 8,000 euros per user, are intended to cover costs related to equipment, energy efficiency, digitalization, and export activities.
