Christos Tzolis faces multi-week absence due to hamstring injury

Arsenal winger Christos Tzolis is expected to be sidelined for approximately two to three weeks following a hamstring injury sustained while playing for Greece. The 24-year-old was forced off in the 18th minute of a UEFA Nations League match against the Netherlands.

Initial medical assessments indicate a Grade 1 hamstring strain. Tzolis has returned to London for further evaluation by Arsenal’s medical staff. If the projected recovery timeline holds, he will miss several key fixtures, including matches against Leeds United, Lille, Nottingham Forest, and Bayern Munich.

The injury adds to the fitness concerns for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who is also monitoring the status of Kai Havertz following a similar hamstring issue during international duty.
