Galicia's A Coruña and Lugo Promote Regional Gastronomy This Summer
The Deputación da Coruña has launched the ‘A Paisaxe que sabe’ program, a summer tourism initiative that invites visitors to explore the province’s landscapes and local cuisine. Highlights include O Rocundo mussels, Padrón peppers, Arzúa‑Ulloa cheese, Coristanco potatoes, Carballo bread and Betanzos tortilla, linking food with the territory’s cultural heritage.
The Xunta de Galicia, through Turismo de Galicia, will again back the ‘Y para comer Lugo’ stand at the 2026 Vuelta a España. Positioned at VIP areas across the race’s 21 stages, the stand showcases Lugo and Galician specialties such as Arzúa‑Ulloa, Cebreiro, Tetilla and San Simón cheeses, Patata de Galicia, and other protected products, using the international sporting event to promote the region’s gastronomic identity.
