Hotto Motto to launch seasonal dessert pies in Japan

Hotto Motto, the takeout bento chain operated by Plenus Co., Ltd., is launching a new seasonal dessert line called ‘Hotto Pie’ starting October 1, 2026. The limited-time offering will be available at 2,415 locations across Japan.

The lineup includes two varieties: the ‘Hotto Custard Pie,’ featuring a smooth and rich egg-based custard, and the ‘Hotto An Butter Pie,’ which combines sweet red bean paste with savory butter. Both desserts utilize a crispy, flaky pastry designed to be enjoyed warm during the cooler season. Each pie is priced at 176 yen (190 yen including tax).
