Japanese food companies announce seasonal menus and price changes
Various Japanese food and beverage companies have announced new pricing strategies, seasonal menus, and promotional events.
Kura Sushi is adjusting its pricing structure, lowering its minimum price from 115 yen to 110 yen for 37 items, while increasing the price of 33 other items, such as salmon, from 115 yen to 120 yen. Meanwhile, Kappa Sushi is introducing a “Mori Mori Toro Neba Plate” as part of its all-you-can-eat menu.
Several retailers are launching seasonal offerings. Ginza Cozy Corner is releasing autumn-themed madeleines featuring chestnut, pumpkin, and purple sweet potato. Eggs ’n Things is introducing shine muscat pancakes and savory benedict options. Kisoaji and Kora Honten are both launching autumn fairs centered on matsutake mushrooms, with Kora Honten also featuring crab.
Promotional sales are also underway, including a two-week thanksgiving festival at Kinokuniya and a limited-time discount on “Nori Bento” at Hotto Motto. Additionally, Shin Nihonkai Ferry is hosting a Hokkaido cheese-themed culinary event on its vessels.
