Daft Punk and LEGO announce official partnership

The LEGO Group and the French electronic duo Daft Punk have announced a new creative partnership titled ‘Builders After All’. The collaboration aims to bring the duo’s visual identity into the LEGO universe through products, content, and brand experiences.

The first major milestone is the official development of a LEGO set inspired by the iconic pyramid stage from Daft Punk’s ‘Alive 2007’ tour. The project originated as a fan submission on the LEGO Ideas platform by Patrick Harboun and his son, which won the ‘Music to Our Ears’ challenge in 2020 and subsequently garnered over 10,000 supporters.

To launch the partnership, a promotional film was released featuring Daft Punk reimagined as LEGO minifigures. The short film, set to the tracks ‘Voyager’ and ‘Human After All’, depicts the robot personas navigating a holographic environment before appearing behind a brick-built console. While the pyramid set is entering development, LEGO has not yet confirmed a specific price, piece count, or release date, though further information is expected in 2027.
