LEGO Party! launches on Nintendo Switch 2 with Update 1.6

Developer SMG Studio, The LEGO Group and publisher Fictions announced on July 30 2026 that the party‑game LEGO Party! is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, alongside its existing releases on Switch 1, PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 4/5. The launch coincides with Update 1.6, which adds Public Lobbies, four new Challenge‑Zone game modes, advanced rule options such as Multi‑Brick Purchase, and a set of Series 29 LEGO Minifigures for players to unlock and customise.

Owners of the original Switch version receive a free upgrade to the Switch 2 edition, and a limited‑time price promotion reduces the cost in France to €27.99 through August 17 2026. The update and new hardware support higher frame rates and sharper visuals, while the core gameplay remains a four‑player experience featuring 60 mini‑games inspired by LEGO Pirates, LEGO Space, LEGO NINJAO and other sets.

The game's expanded online features allow players worldwide to host or join public matches, fostering broader multiplayer participation across all supported platforms.
