LEGO announces PlayStation console set and Astro Bot figurine

The LEGO Group has announced a new PlayStation-themed set, featuring a 1,911-piece recreation of the original Sony console. Scheduled for release on October 4, 2026, the model includes a pluggable controller with functional ‘Open’ and ‘Power’ buttons. The set also features hidden dioramas inspired by classic titles, including a Gran Turismo mini-circuit and an Ape Escape scene.

As part of a ‘gift with purchase’ promotion, the set includes an exclusive 276-piece buildable Astro Bot figurine. This mascot figure, which features poseable limbs and interchangeable eyes, is not available for separate sale and is intended to accompany the larger PlayStation set.

The PlayStation set is priced at approximately $179.99 in the US and €159.99 in the EU.
