Western Europe expects unseasonably warm late-summer temperatures

Parts of Western Europe are experiencing an unseasonably warm period despite the astronomical autumn having begun. Meteorologists report that warm air flowing from France and Spain is driving temperatures significantly higher than seasonal norms.

In the Netherlands, temperatures are expected to reach between 23°C and 28°C, particularly in the Limburg region. Some areas may see highs near 25°C or 26°C during the peak of this late summer spell. While the weekend may feature mixed sun and clouds, the midweek period is forecasted to be notably warm and mostly dry.

In Belgium, similar trends are expected, with temperatures potentially climbing toward 30°C on Tuesday. Following this peak, weather patterns are predicted to shift, bringing increased cloud cover and rain from the west, which will gradually lower temperatures toward the end of the week.
