Nvidia invests $5 billion in AI startup Safe Superintelligence as Dutch manufacturing sees strongest production rise in
Nvidia announced a $5 billion investment in Safe Superintelligence, a secretive AI startup founded by OpenAI co‑founder Ilya Sutskever. The funding will give the startup access to Nvidia’s Vera Rubin hardware, aiming to scale its research over the next year.
Meanwhile, the Dutch Nevi Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) recorded its highest production growth in more than four years, with the overall index remaining above the 50‑point boom‑bust threshold for the fourteenth month. Analysts linked the manufacturing surge partly to increased spending on AI‑related data‑center infrastructure.
Both developments highlight the expanding role of artificial‑intelligence technologies in driving corporate investment and industrial output across Europe and the United States.
