Pom Pom Purin 30th‑Anniversary Goods Launch Nationwide and Shirotan Collaboration Debut in Japan
Sanrio’s character Pom Pom Purin marks its 30th anniversary with a nationwide merchandise rollout at Shamble (Shimamura Group) stores and online starting July 29. The line features shoulder bags, face‑printed pouches, assorted charms and a dish set depicting Pom Purin in a red cape, with sales excluding the Sōwa store.
Separately, a Shirotan × Pom Purin collaboration was released on July 31. The partnership celebrates Shirotan’s first‑place win in the partner category of the 2026 Sanrio Character Award and Pom Purin’s overall first place. The collection includes a pair keyholder (¥4,600), mascot keyholder (¥2,300), 55 cm hugging pillow (¥7,000), mascot, T‑shirt (¥3,500) and stickers (¥440 each), limited to three units per customer and sold through Shirotan’s own stores and its online “Shirotan Fluffy Store” at Tokyo Station’s Ichiban Plaza and the Tokyo Character Street Online Plaza.
