Sanrio's Pom Pom Purin caramel‑pudding castella hits Japanese stores

Sanrio has teamed up with Osaka’s historic castella shop Ginsou to release a limited‑edition Pom Pom Purin castella flavored with caramel pudding. The product, celebrating Ginsou’s 75th anniversary and Pom Pom Purin’s recent popularity, consists of five pieces priced at ¥800 (tax‑free).

Two exclusive package designs and themed paper bags accompany the confection. It will be sold nationwide from August 1, 2026 through department stores, Ginsou’s own outlets, station kiosks and airport souvenir shops. Ginsou also hinted at a second wave of collaborations with other Sanrio characters later in the year.
