Harry Potter 25th Anniversary Marked by Back to Hogwarts Events in Venice

Warner Bros. Discovery is celebrating the 25th anniversary of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" with a global "Back to Hogwarts" program on 1 September 2026. The centerpiece is an exclusive event in Venice, Italy, featuring a special screening of the first film, themed areas, and memorabilia created with partners such as LEGO®, PANINI, Witor’s and Rubies.

From 26 August to 2 September the film returns to cinemas worldwide, while fans in the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, China, Australia, Japan and other countries take part in local activities. In conjunction with the anniversary, Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products is launching a new line of official Harry Potter merchandise. The celebrations also preview the upcoming HBO Max original series "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone," slated for a Christmas 2026 debut.
