Ziggo gains nationwide internet and TV coverage via Delta Fiber partnership

Ziggo, one of the Netherlands' largest cable providers, will extend its internet and television services to almost the entire country by using the fiber network of Delta Fiber. The agreement adds roughly 680,000 addresses, bringing regions such as Twente, Zeeland, the Westland and parts of Gouda and Aalsmeer into Ziggo's coverage area. The rollout starts on 20 August, allowing customers in these areas to subscribe to Ziggo bundles that include TV, sport and mobile services.

The move marks a shift for Ziggo from building its own cable infrastructure to sharing existing fiber networks, a strategy that reduces deployment time and cost. Delta Fiber, which already hosts more than fifteen providers, benefits from the added traffic and confirms its open‑network approach. The partnership expands consumer choice in the Dutch broadband market, which has become increasingly saturated.

The expansion is expected to increase competition with other operators and improve service options for Dutch households that previously lacked access to Ziggo’s offerings.
