2026 Mexican National Paralympic state competitions

The 2026 CONADE National Paralympics state-level competitions are being held across various Mexican states.

In Guerrero, the state hosted its first official stage at the Chilpancingo Polideportivo, featuring disciplines such as para-athletics, para-table tennis, and para-powerlifting, alongside the debut of Boccia. In Tijuana, a delegation of over 80 parathletes prepared to compete in several disciplines to qualify for the national stage.

In Sinaloa, the state phase of the competition features 448 athletes and over 600 total participants, including coaches and support staff. Officials reported a growth of more than 10 percent in participation compared to the previous year, noting the inclusion of Navolato to help expand municipal representation and talent development in adapted sports.

In the parathletics discipline in Sinaloa, Mazatlán leads the medal tally with 96 medals (57 gold, 31 silver, and 8 bronze). Culiacán holds second place with 58 medals, followed by Ahome with 55. Notable individual performances include Mazatlán athletes Jesús Manuel Altamirano, Emmanuel de Jesús Valle, and Silvana María Quiñones, each securing three gold medals. Ahome has also seen strong results through Iván Bernabé Angulo, who achieved top placements in the 100-meter dash, shot put, and long jump. This competition serves as a qualifying stage for the national phase scheduled to take place in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
