2026 Niterói International Literary Festival

The festival is currently underway at the Reserva Cultural, with organizers expecting to host approximately 30,000 people by the end of the event on Sunday. The program includes debates on race, gender, identity, politics, democracy, and journalism. Notable participants include authors Ana Maria Gonçalves and Jeferson Tenório, and journalist Miriam Leitão. Other scheduled activities include book launches, such as the biography ‘Mar Negro’ by Jelineha Rocha and Solange Duarte, as well as musical discussions led by João Carino.
