Jaguar Land Rover vehicle recalls

Overview

Jaguar Land Rover has issued separate recalls for different vehicle models in Australia, the United States, and Canada.

In Australia, the company recalled 95 Range Rover Sport SUVs produced between 2023 and 2026 due to a structural manufacturing defect. The issue involves potential cracks in the rear subframe that could weaken the vehicle’s structure and increase the risk of injury or death during a rear-end collision. Jaguar Land Rover will contact owners to arrange inspections and perform repairs free of charge if cracks are identified.

In the United States and Canada, Jaguar Land Rover is recalling 93,997 Land Rover Range Rover vehicles manufactured between 2022 and 2026. The recall addresses a defect in the rearview camera system where a lack of sufficient drainage holes allows water to accumulate near the tailgate. This water ingress can cause blurry images, image distortion, or a complete loss of the camera feed, potentially obscuring pedestrians or obstacles and increasing collision risks.

Internal data indicates that approximately 2.4 percent of the affected fleet, or 2,295 reported cases, have experienced related issues since August 2022. To remedy the defect, authorized dealers will drill additional drainage holes beneath the tailgate trim and replace any damaged or malfunctioning cameras free of charge. Owners are expected to receive notification letters starting December 11, 2026.
