2027 Rallye Monte-Carlo event details
Overview
The Automobile Club Monaco has unveiled the route for the 95th edition of the Rallye Monte-Carlo, which is scheduled to serve as the season opener for the 2027 World Rally Championship (WRC). The event is set to take place from January 21 to 24, 2027, across the South Alps and the Côte d’Azur.
The revised itinerary features 18 special stages covering a total distance of over 353 kilometers, an increase from previous years. The competition will begin with a ceremony in Monaco and include a Thursday opening with three special stages, such as the Col de Bleine–Aiglun. The route also includes the Col de Turini for the Sunday Power Stage. Gap is expected to serve as the service park.
The 2027 season will introduce new regulations and arrives amidst uncertainty regarding the full WRC calendar. The rally remains a significant challenge for drivers due to unpredictable weather conditions, including the potential for rain, snow, and ice to occur simultaneously during a single stage.
