40 Days for Life campaign in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Overview
The ‘40 Days for Life’ autumn campaign is expanding its presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The initiative, which aims to reduce abortion rates through prayer, fasting, and community awareness, is scheduled to run from September 23 to November 1, 2026.
Čapljina will host the campaign for the first time, with daily prayer vigils held in front of the local health center. This follows the establishment of similar vigils in Mostar, where prayer sessions are held daily in front of the University Clinical Hospital.
The campaign operates in collaboration with the ‘Mother Krispina’ Safe House in Međugorje, providing psychological, medical, and practical assistance, including housing and essential needs, to pregnant women and families in crisis.
