Overview

The Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic has launched a new interactive science trail in the Ládví and Kobylisy areas of Prague. Initiated by seven research institutes, the project functions as an “open-air science center” intended to promote scientific literacy among students and the general public.

The trail consists of eight stops featuring interactive exhibits, such as a flywheel, a spectrometer, and an atomic model. Michael Prouza, Director of the Institute of Physics, stated that the project offers experiments that allow the public to “gain deeper insight into the world of science.”
