Ack Attack motorcycle speed record attempt in Bolivia

Overview

Rocky Robinson and the Ack Attack team are preparing to attempt a new motorcycle land speed record at the Bolivia Speed Trials on the Salar de Uyuni. The team aims to become the first to officially exceed 400 mph (approximately 645 km/h).

The Ack Attack vehicle, described as resembling “a missile more than a traditional motorcycle,” utilizes two supercharged Suzuki Hayabusa engines to generate roughly 1,000 CV of power. While the team reached 378 mph during a 2023 attempt at the same location, they were unable to complete the return pass necessary for official Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) certification. The upcoming attempt is scheduled to take place on a 30-kilometer track at an altitude of approximately 3,600 meters.
