Entities: Waldiclei Barboza · Cidenei Cristian Allebrandt · Foz do Iguaçu · ADJORI PR · Associação dos Jornais e Revistas com Portais do Interior (Adjori PR)
Overview
In late July 2026, the Associação dos Jornais e Revistas com Portais do Interior (ADJORI PR) convened two meetings in Foz do Iguaçu to elect its leadership for the 2027‑2028 term. On 26 July, the ordinary general assembly approved a single slate of candidates by acclamation, installing journalist Waldiclei Barboza, director of O Popular do Paraná, as president. The outgoing president, Cidenei Cristian Allebrandt, presented the 2025 financial statements, which were unanimously accepted, and reported a cash balance of R$ 173,712.37.
Two days later, the 29th Congress concluded with a formal dinner attended by Paraná Vice‑Governor Darci Piana and State Secretary of Communication Eduardo Pugnali. Barboza was inaugurated as president, and the full board was announced, including Vice‑President Sérgio Jonikaites, secretaries Moacir Luiz Guchert and Marcia Moskado Batista de Almeida, and treasurers Cidenei Allebrandt and Marcelo Soares da Silva. The board pledged to strengthen regional journalism and community engagement during its mandate from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028.
