Affordable housing developments in Sevilla
Overview
Residential development projects in Sevilla are advancing with a focus on affordable and protected housing.
The Barrio Quarto project, located on 164 hectares, is slated to begin construction in 2028. Following environmental studies by the Junta de Andalucía’s Ministry of Sustainability and Environment, the development is expected to include 5,500 homes, with approximately 3,000 designated as public or protected housing. The plan also incorporates 100,000 square meters for commercial use and 65 hectares of green space.
In a separate development in Sevilla Este, the Lagoom Living project has broken ground. This 157 million euro investment aims to provide 843 units, including 691 protected rental homes with expected monthly prices around 500 euros. Funded by the Instituto de Crédito Oficial and European Next Generation funds via the Junta de Andalucía, the complex is scheduled for completion by late 2028.
