Following this, Uganda Airlines announced plans to launch a new route connecting Entebbe to Accra, Ghana, via Lagos, Nigeria, starting October 27, 2026. This expansion will utilize a Boeing 737-800 leased from Ethiopian Airlines, which has also partnered with the Trans Africa Investment Summit to provide discounted fares for participants in November 2026.
