The Nigeria Aquatics Federation (NAqF) initially announced a 15-member junior delegation, comprising 11 females and four males, to compete in the 2026 Africa Aquatics Zone 2 Junior Swimming Championship in Dakar, Senegal. In related regional developments, Uganda’s swimming team also saw success at the ANOCA Zone V Youth Games in Nairobi, Kenya, earning nine medals, including two gold medals won by Arthur Mwase and Tyler Muganzi.
