Agility Robotics has introduced Digit 5, a next-generation general-purpose humanoid robot designed for use in shared workspaces, manufacturing, and logistics. A key feature of the Digit 5 is its enhanced battery performance. Utilizing Nyobolt’s high-power battery technology, the robot achieves a 10:1 work-to-charge ratio, providing 90 minutes of continuous operation after a nine-minute charge. This represents a fivefold improvement over the previous Digit 4 model. The company expects the robot to enable over 20 hours of productivity per day, with initial customers slated to receive access in the first half of 2027.
