Agrigento green tourism project launch

Overview

The municipality of Agrigento has launched ‘Naturalmente Agrigento’, a tourism project focused on promoting slow and sustainable travel. Additional components involve the development of green paths, a mobile application, and environmental actions such as a beach cleanup led by Plastic Free. Mayor Michele Sodano has also expressed intentions to plant 10,000 trees and develop a cycle-pedestrian path along the Rupe Atenea forest trail.
