The following day, Lake County, Florida announced a district‑wide rollout of exterior cameras on all 240 buses, supplied by Verra Mobility, with a graduated enforcement approach that starts with educational notices and progresses to $200–$400 fines. Hall County, Georgia, relaunched its own stop‑arm camera program on 50 buses, also using Verra Mobility equipment, imposing civil fines up to $1,000 after an eight‑week warning period. Both programs are funded at no cost to taxpayers, with fine revenue covering maintenance and surplus allocated to district needs.
