All Nippon Airways (ANA) is launching a ‘Green Pokémon Jet’, a Boeing 787-9 aircraft, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of its partnership with the Pokémon franchise.

Scheduled to begin operations on September 18, the aircraft will fly various international routes from Haneda and Narita airports to destinations including Honolulu, Seattle, Sydney, and Singapore. The themed experience includes a green livery featuring characters like Bulbasaur and Pikachu, as well as special cabin elements such as themed seat covers and in-flight entertainment.

In conjunction with the aircraft launch, ANA is collaborating with Pokémon GO to introduce ANA-themed PokéStops and Gyms at 14 Japanese airports. This initiative includes in-game events like Bulbasaur raids. The Green Pokémon Jet follows the previously introduced ‘Red Pokémon Jet’, with a ‘Blue Pokémon Jet’ planned for late 2026.
