Allegiant Stadium infrastructure upgrade project

Overview

The Las Vegas Stadium Authority is moving forward with a $158 million upgrade project for the north entrance of Allegiant Stadium. The proposal, which aims to address capacity issues and improve the guest experience, involves creating a new “front door” through the addition of a pedestrian deck, a public plaza, an event deck, and transportation enhancements to better connect the venue to the Las Vegas Strip.

Following an initial proposal to split costs between public and private sources, the Las Vegas Stadium Authority unanimously approved $75 million in public funding. This portion will be drawn from surplus hotel room tax revenue. The Las Vegas Raiders will privately fund the remaining $83 million of the project.

Construction is slated to begin after the current Raiders season concludes. The project is targeted for completion by late 2028, ahead of the 2029 Super Bowl.
