Overview

Amazon MGM Studios has ordered a darkly comedic murder mystery series for Prime Video titled ‘Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone’. The series is an adaptation of the bestselling novel by Benjamin Stevenson.

Penn Badgley will star as Ern Cunningham, a mystery-writing expert. The plot is set in the mountains of Vermont and follows Cunningham as he attends a family reunion to welcome his brother, Michael, home from prison. The gathering turns deadly when a frozen body is discovered and a snowstorm traps the family inside. The story focuses on the tension within a family where every member has been involved in a killing, whether intentional or accidental.

David Hemingson will serve as showrunner and executive producer. The project is produced by Fifth Season and Made Up Stories.
