Overview
Antioquia has secured 325.8 billion pesos to fund 28 regional projects through the 2026 ‘Obras por Impuestos’ (Works for Taxes) mechanism. This marks the third consecutive year the department has led the nation in managing initiatives via this program.
The funding is distributed across sectors including infrastructure, education, healthcare, potable water, sanitation, risk management, and cultural infrastructure. Infrastructure is the largest recipient, with 138.93 billion pesos allocated to five projects. The investment is split between projects presented by the Gobernación de Antioquia, local municipalities, and direct proposals from companies.
