Arajet, the flag carrier of the Dominican Republic, has launched the fourth edition of its “Cadetes” pilot training program in partnership with Boeing. Beyond pilot training, the airline has also expanded its workforce by training and hiring 18 new Dominican cabin crew members. CEO Victor Miguel Pacheco Méndez stated the goal is to place the Dominican Republic on the “global aviation map” by developing local professional talent.
