Argentine police emergency medical interventions

Overview

Argentine police officers have performed several emergency medical interventions to save children in different regions.

In General Roca, Inspector Julián Riquelme administered CPR to a one month old infant who had stopped breathing. Officers used a police vehicle to transport the child to Francisco López Lima Hospital, where the infant was stabilized. In Concepción, Corporal Juan Barros used the Heimlich maneuver to assist a choking three year old boy, who was then taken to Miguel Belascuain Hospital.

In Chimbas, Agent Mónica Sánchez and Corporal Garay responded to a three week old infant suffering from asphyxiation. Following first aid and CPR during transport to the Báez Laspiur Health Center, the infant expelled the obstructing fluid and was declared out of danger.
