The Armored Trooper Votoms anime franchise is returning with a two-film project titled ‘Soukou Kihei Votoms Haiiro no Hexe’ (Armored Trooper Votoms: Die Graue Hexe). Directed by Mamoru Oshii and produced by Sunrise with support from Production I.G, the project marks the first animated production for the saga in fifteen years and is part of Sunrise’s 50th-anniversary initiatives.
