Overview

Hungarian authorities, acting on intelligence from the FBI, apprehended a 60-year-old British citizen who had been wanted in the United States since 2006. The suspect, described as one of the “most wanted criminals,” is accused of crimes involving the sexual abuse of minors and illegal sexual coercion.

The individual reportedly fled the United States in September 2004. Following a tip regarding his travel through Hungary, the National Investigation Bureau and local police in Hajdú-Bihar County intercepted the suspect’s vehicle near Polgár as he moved from the Romanian border toward the M3 motorway.
