Art exhibitions and initiatives in Oman and Qatar

Overview

Major art initiatives are being launched across the Middle East. In Oman, the fifth edition of Muscat Art is scheduled for late October, featuring works from over 300 artists to foster dialogue between artists, architects, and designers.

In Qatar, several large-scale events have been announced. The inaugural Rubaiya Qatar is set to begin in November, featuring more than 120 participating artists across three shows and a public art component. Additionally, the second edition of Art Basel Qatar has been scheduled for January 2027 in Doha. This event, themed ‘between / بين’, aims to explore the relationship between the MENASA region and the rest of the world through the participation of 82 galleries.
