Later in the month, ASELSAN conducted live-fire trials of the KORKUT 35 air defense system, attended by defense delegations from 12 countries. Integrated into an 8x8 tactical wheeled vehicle, the system was tested for its ability to detect, track, and neutralize aerial and ground threats while in motion.

The demonstration specifically highlighted counter-unmanned aerial vehicle (UAS) capabilities, where the system successfully engaged fixed-wing, delta-wing, mini/micro UAVs, and kamikaze drones. The KORKUT 35 utilizes 35mm cannons capable of firing approximately 1,100 rounds per minute, employing ammunition that explodes near the target to increase hit probability against small, low-cost drones. The system is also designed to counter fighter aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles, and air-to-ground missiles.
