Asim Ferhatović Hase Stadium pitch suspension

Overview

The Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina (N/FS BiH) has issued a conditional approval for FK Sarajevo to return to the Asim Ferhatović Hase Stadium for their home matches through the end of the 2026/27 autumn half-season.

This decision follows a technical inspection by the Scottish company ProPitch, which confirmed significant damage to the hybrid pitch. Although the stadium is permitted for use, the surface will no longer be officially categorized as a hybrid pitch until a complete replacement is finished. The costs associated with these repairs are to be covered by the stadium owner.
