AVRAK heavy metal debut album announcement

Overview

The Norwegian heavy metal band AVRAK has announced that its self-titled debut album will be released on October 9, 2026, via Peaceville Records. Formed in November 2023 by guitarists Ted Skjellum and Anders Hegna, the group includes drummer Terje Kråbøl and bassist Steinar Gundersen.

The nine-track album blends classic heavy metal and doom rock with elements of synth and black metal. Recording was completed in February 2026 at Mølla Studio by Knut Magne Valle. Following the release of their first single, ‘Unborn’, and a debut performance in Porsgrunn in April 2026, the band plans further live shows to support the release.
