Çaykur Rizespor infrastructure development plans

Overview

Çaykur Rizespor President Ali Zeki Saruhan has announced plans to modernize sports infrastructure in Rize. The proposal includes constructing a new UEFA-standard sports complex with a capacity of 25,000 to 30,000 spectators to replace the existing stadium, which is currently considered insufficient regarding transport and facilities.

Furthermore, the club intends to establish a youth academy hub. Following approval from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, land currently used by the Çaykur Cumhuriyet Tea Factory is expected to be transferred to the club to provide training facilities for approximately 200 young players.
