The first snapshot reports 2025 naming data from Croatia and Serbia. In Croatia, the most common name for newborn girls was Nikaje, followed by a range of traditional names, while total births rose to 711. Serbia gained attention for a single child's unusually patriotic name, "Srbujem," sparking mixed public reaction.

A later snapshot expands the view to Germany, Bosnia‑Herzegovina and Slovenia. Germany shows a stable preference for short, melodic names such as Sofia and Noa for girls and Noa, Mateo and Teo for boys. In Bosnia‑Herzegovina, naming differs between the Federation (Merjem, Hamza) and the Republika Srpska (Vasilije, Lazar, Luka, Stefan, Jovan). Slovenia records a revival of classic names, with Marjeta re‑entering the top‑50 female names.
