Banco de México international reserves trends

Overview

The Banco de México has seen fluctuations in its international reserves throughout late 2026. In mid-August, reserves reached $257.417 billion, following a $329 million weekly increase driven by asset valuation fluctuations. By mid-September, international reserves were reported at $257.554 billion. Unlike the August report, the monetary base increased by approximately 13,918 million pesos during the September reporting period, reaching 3.53 trillion pesos.
