Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP) has announced leadership transitions within its African subsidiaries.
In Congo, Ibrahim Dohia Traoré has been selected as the new Director General of BCI Congo, succeeding André Gilles Ernest Collet. Traoré, who previously served as Executive Director of BCP International, brings 27 years of experience in banking and information technology to the role. His appointment is subject to regulatory approval and is intended to focus on technological transformation and commercial development.
In Cameroon, BCP has also implemented changes at BICEC, appointing Othmane Tajeddine, the head of international banking at BCP, to its board of directors. Tajeddine’s term is set to run until 2030. Additionally, shareholders renewed several board mandates and appointed Paul Essimi Ngono as deputy statutory auditor.
