Bavarian farmers push EU agri reforms

A few days later, at the 79th alpine pasture inspection (Hauptalmbegehung) in the Schönbergalmen, BBV President Günther Felßner called for a substantial GAP budget of at least €500 billion from 2028 and urged a practical overhaul of the EU Nature Restoration Regulation, citing the need for realistic grazing rules and effective wolf management. The event underscored the association’s continued push for stronger federal and EU support, building on the earlier dialogue with the MEP and reinforcing the demand for concrete financial and regulatory measures.
