Benelli motorcycle relaunch and model expansion
Overview
Benelli has initiated a relaunch strategy focused on new motorcycle models and market expansion. The rollout began with the introduction of the TRK 902 travel enduro to the European market, including France. The model features a 904 cc parallel-twin engine producing approximately 93-95 hp and 90 Nm of torque. It is available in two versions: the road-oriented Stradale, priced at €9,160, and the off-road Xplorer, which costs €200 more. The bike includes features such as Marzocchi suspension, Brembo brakes, a 7-inch TFT display, and optional radar-based blind-spot assist.
Following the TRK 902 launch, which Sales Director Gianni Monini noted showed positive market signals despite initial delays, the company introduced the BKX 125. This lightweight adventure option for novice riders targets the A1 license segment with a 15 CV engine and a retail price of €3,790.
Looking toward 2027, Benelli aims to expand its presence in the scooter and entry-level adventure sectors by developing 125cc and 150cc scooters alongside A2-compliant adventure models.
