Authorities in Bengaluru have arrested individuals suspected of radicalization and conspiracy through social media platforms.

In one instance, a 25-year-old security guard was arrested for allegedly conspiring with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) via Facebook. Police report the suspect intended to travel to Afghanistan for training to carry out retaliatory attacks motivated by regional conflicts.

In a separate case, an AC technician was arrested in Bengaluru Rural for allegedly communicating with radicalized individuals and gang-linked accounts on Instagram over a two-year period. Investigators noted the suspect had an interest in firearms and shared personal identification details with users linked to a Pakistani gang.
