Bite Latvija network maintenance updates
Overview
Bite Latvija has scheduled network software maintenance and enhancement works across different regions of Latvia.
On the night of September 21–22, the company planned updates in the Kurzeme region, affecting over 190 base stations in municipalities including Kuldīga, Ventspils, South Kurzeme, Saldus, Talsi, Tukums, Liepāja, and Ventspils. Aleksandrs Beļajevs, head of the Radio Network Department, noted that these updates aim to improve service performance and strengthen network resilience.
Following this, scheduled maintenance was announced for the capital, Riga, during the night of September 27–28. This work involves 139 base stations and is intended to manage increasing data consumption and prepare infrastructure for future technologies.
